Getting A Pet Something For Christmas

By Carlos Longwood

Dogs love toys. You can't deny that statement; you'll see them rummaging through rooms to bite on something. Whether it's a ball, a shirt, a box, a case, a pair of iPod headphones (yes, it can happen) or your deodorant, dogs just love their toys. It's a way for them to strengthen their teeth, strengthen their bite and kill the boredom. But of course, it's annoying if they turn your most important objects into their toys. So you got to do something and get them their own toys to play with.

So you're probably asking yourself, "Hmmm what can I buy for my dog for Christmas?" Well, here's a few suggestions for you. Are you sometimes annoyed when your dog suddenly rips apart those new business papers you just got? Or he keeps dragging the trash back into the house? It's time you got him a new ball to play with. Dogs have a tendency to bite on stuff without warning so having something bite on will occupy him. Better yet, buy a box of balls so he's got something to bite on more.

Labradors are natural swimmers. Since the dawn of their breed, they were made to fetch game (for those not familiar with this term, it means the animals that were hunted down by shooters in the countryside). In some places, Labradors have to swim to get the game so this has developed to become a genetic trait among all Labradors. This has been proven already; my Labrador once swam in the pond of my relative. He just swam like there was no tomorrow. Labradors are friendly and social. They're quite friendly to almost everyone that comes near them. When they want to give comfort to someone, they'll go near them and cuddle with them. Labradors are always there for someone in times of emotional distress. They always want to bring happiness.

Concerned his obnoxious fart is ruining your home? Might as well buy him a new house. Go for the pre-assembled but cheap houses. Make sure it's durable, light and safe. With a house for Christmas, he can fart and piss all he wants. Does your dog feel lonely being all alone? Why not buy him a new buddy or partner? With a buddy, he's able to play with someone. He can expand his social skills with a new dog. With a partner, you can make new puppies and have your dog make a family. You have family and now he has a family. What more could you ask?

So these are the best kind of toys for your dog. But don't just stick to one of these; try them all. It's nice to mix it up and keep a variety of your toys for your dog. Not only will it keep boredom but it will also help develop your dog to be a well-rounded pet. So go ahead, experiment and see where it goes.
